Muncie is located in eastern-central Indiana and is easily accessible via Interstate-69.
The city is approximately 90 minutes from the Indianapolis airport, and we recommend arriving at said airport if you plan to fly to the conference. We will assist in coordinating rides between composers and may be able to offer a shuttle service to/from the airport if the need arises. Muncie has several hotels to choose from, but we have reserved a block of rooms at the Ball State Student Center Hotel (765-285-1555). They are currently holding 9 Twin rooms (have 2 twin beds), 5 Queen rooms (1 bed), 9 King rooms (1 bed) and a Suite. The following rates are available if rooms are reserved by October 27.

Parking
If you plan to park on campus, there are two parking ramps located near the music building that offer daily parking for only a few dollars (they accept cash or credit cards). Parking is free across campus on the weekends, so don't worry about paying on Saturday.
